We've Partnered with

Every coach who writes plans or coaches athletes through Tortoise Endurance gets full access to EndoGusto, the platform built for endurance coaches. You use it to build workouts, assemble training plans, schedule them, and deliver them to your athletes. This page walks through how that works.

What EndoGusto is

EndoGusto is a dedicated platform for endurance coaches. It holds your workout library, your training plan templates, an athlete calendar you build and adjust, and the analysis that comes back once athletes start training. It connects to the apps athletes already use, so completed sessions from Garmin, Strava, COROS, Wahoo, Polar and Suunto flow straight back to you.

You do not pay for it

While you coach through Tortoise Endurance, your EndoGusto access is covered for you. There is no separate subscription to set up and nothing to expense.

How you build a plan

The same steps whether you are writing a single one-off plan or coaching an athlete month by month.

01

Read the athlete and the race

You open the athlete with their Tortoise Endurance intake, race and activity history, and the breakdown of what their target race demands. That tells you what the plan has to close.

02

Set their training zones

Set zone names and boundaries for that athlete in EndoGusto. Every workout you assign then adjusts to their physiology automatically.

03

Build the workouts

Use the workout builder for sessions by distance, duration, or both, with coaching notes on each step. Pull from the prebuilt library or your own saved workouts.

04

Assemble the plan

Lay the weeks out in the plan builder, or start from one of your saved plan templates and reshape it around this athlete.

05

Schedule and release

Drop the plan onto the calendar, then release it to the athlete in batches so you keep room to adjust the weeks ahead.

06

Save it as a template

Every plan you write is saved to your library. Your next athlete for a similar race starts from that, so the work compounds and you get quicker.

Custom training zones for each athlete

Set your own zone names and boundaries for every athlete, in pace, heart rate or power. The workouts you assign scale to those zones, so one session works across a roster without you rewriting the numbers each time.

A plan builder and a template library

Design the full block week by week in the plan builder and save it to your library. The first plan for a given race is built from scratch. After that you start from your own saved plan and adjust it around the next athlete, which is where the time saving comes from.

A library of prebuilt endurance workouts is there from day one if you want a starting point.

Plan weeks ahead, release in batches

Build as far ahead as you like, then choose how much the athlete sees. Release a block at a time so you can still adjust the coming weeks around how training is actually going, illness, travel, or a change in life around them.

Drag and drop moves a session between days or reorders a day, and you can drop workouts straight in from your library.

Export the plan as a PDF

For a one-off training plan, export the whole block to a clean, printable PDF to hand over. The athlete gets a document they can follow anywhere, and the clarification window covers any genuine questions after delivery.

See how each session actually went

Completed workouts come back with pace, heart rate, power and elevation, plus a lap by lap breakdown. For monthly coaching that is what you review before shaping the next block.

Track load, fitness and freshness

Fitness, fatigue and form are tracked across the block so you can see whether an athlete is absorbing the work or drifting into a hole, and time the taper against real data rather than a guess.

A weekly debrief on every athlete

A short weekly summary of what each athlete completed against what you planned. It is a fast way to scan a roster and spot who needs a closer look before you write their next week.

How it fits with Tortoise Endurance

EndoGusto is where you build the plan. Tortoise Endurance is where the athlete, the race, and the payment come from. The two sit next to each other.

  • -The athlete picks their race and completes their intake with us, and we match them to you on fit
  • -You get their race and activity history and the race breakdown before you start writing
  • -You build and deliver the plan in EndoGusto, on your own structure and at your own pace
  • -We take payment from the athlete, so there is no invoicing or chasing on your side
  • -Your EndoGusto access stays covered for as long as you are coaching through us
