Runner racing on a mountain trail
For Race Organisers

Get your race in front of the runners who are actually looking for it

List your race with Tortoise Endurance and it becomes searchable by terrain, distance, climate and field size, and eligible to appear in the community lists runners build and share.

Runners find races here in a different way

Most race directories rely on a name search or a region filter. Ours lets runners describe what they actually want, in plain English, and get matched against the real course and race data behind every listing. If your race fits what a runner is looking for, it gets found.

Discovery

Found through the Race Explorer

Our Race Explorer lets runners search in plain English, or filter directly by terrain, elevation, climate, and field size. A runner looking for "a flat road marathon in spring with a small field" will be matched against races that actually meet that description, not just races that happen to share a keyword.

That means your race is surfaced to the runners it's genuinely a good fit for, not lost in a long alphabetical list.

Runners can filter by

  • • Terrain and technicality
  • • Distance and elevation gain
  • • Climate and typical race-day weather
  • • Field size and atmosphere
  • • Time of year and location

A few examples

Added to Community Lists

Runners on Tortoise Endurance build and share their own lists of races, grouped around whatever matters to them: a region, a distance, a type of terrain, or just "races worth doing." Once your race is in our directory, it's eligible to be picked up in those lists.

That's recommendation from other runners, not an ad, which tends to carry a lot more weight.
