Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The prize draw is run by Tortoise Endurance (“we”, “us”). By entering you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

• The draw is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
• Employees of Tortoise Endurance, our coaches and their immediate families are not eligible.
• We may ask winners for proof of age and identity before awarding a prize.

3. How to enter

• Enter your email address and the race you are planning to run next on the competition page.
• Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
• One entry per person per monthly draw. Entering again with the same email address in the same month updates your entry rather than adding a second one. Entries made using multiple or false email addresses will be disqualified.
• Subscribing to our newsletter is optional and does not affect your chance of winning.

4. Draw period

• Each draw runs for one calendar month and closes at 23:59 UK time on the last day of that month.
• Entries received after a draw closes are entered into the following month's draw.
• We are not responsible for entries lost, delayed or not received for technical reasons.

5. Prizes

Each monthly draw has three prizes:

• 1st prize: £100 of credit, added to the winner's Tortoise Endurance account and applied automatically at checkout. The credit can only be used towards coaching booked through our website.
• 2nd prize: 30% off the winner's first month of coaching booked through our website.
• 3rd prize: 10% off the winner's first month of coaching booked through our website.

• To receive a prize, the winner needs a Tortoise Endurance account registered with the email address they entered with.
• The 30% and 10% discounts apply to a first month of coaching only and must be used within 12 months of the winner being notified.
• If a winner started coaching with us after entering the draw, we will refund the value of their prize against what they have paid instead: up to £100 for 1st prize, or 30% or 10% of their first month's coaching fee for 2nd and 3rd prize. Refunds are made to the original payment method and never exceed the amount paid.
• Apart from the refund above, prizes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable. Prizes cannot be combined with any other discount unless we say otherwise.
• Coaching is subject to coach availability and our Terms of Service.
• We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

6. Winner selection and notification

• Three winners are picked at random from all eligible entries within 14 days of each draw closing. Each entrant can win only one prize per draw.
• Winners are notified by email at the address they entered with. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified, we may pick another winner.
• Our decision on all matters relating to the draw is final.

7. Your data

• We use your email address to run the draw and contact winners, and the race you enter to send you information relevant to that race.
• If you tick the newsletter box we will also send you our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• We do not sell or share your details with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more.

8. General

• We may change these terms, or suspend or cancel the draw, if circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it necessary.
• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
